How to use the App?
To use the Windows Phone app, you need to install the companion Chrome Browser extension available
here.
- Enter a valid email id in the settings page of the Windows Phone App, and the options page of the Chrome Browser Extension
- Click on Update/Register.
- You will receive an email (Check your SPAM/Junk folder) ,
which has a link to activate your device. Follow the instructions in the email.
- Once both the device are activated, you can click on Update in the Windows Phone App,
or refresh the browser page to get the list of devices.
- Select the default device where the link will be sent.
- Now you can send/receive links between your phone.
I am unable to send links from by Windows Phone App
Please make sure that your device is activated, and a default device is selected by
going to the settings page and clicking on Update.
Only seeing Toast Notification in Windows Phone App. Where is the link?
If you are trying to send a link from your browser to your phone, and you get a toast notification in your phone,
but do not receive the actual link, you could do one of the below.
- Just open the App in your phone and send the link again from your browser.
- Click on the toast notification to directly launch the phone browser.
Please note that this is a known issue and will be fixed in the next version (1.2.0.0)
